Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

The 2012 Eden Valley Viognier will be released via LCBO's Vintages on April 26, 2014. This is a wine everyone will want to enjoy over the spring and summer with bbq'd fish and chicken with lemon sauce to match the refreshing acidity in the wine. Compared to its younger crowd pleasing cousin, "The Y Series" viognier, this wine displays more layers of fruit both in the nose and on the palate. Loads of zesty fruit, with a long spicy finish, this is meant to be enjoyed with a fine summer time meal. 92+ points.
Tasted November 2013.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Definitely a crowd pleaser. The "Big Sister" to Yalumba's Y Series Viognier shows complexity and structure. The nose is immediately smacked with tropical fruit and floral notes. Luscious Golden Delicious apple, apricot, pear, and a hint of spiciness.
Once again the palate shows the characteristic Viognier oiliness. Citrus finish cleanses the palate. A feast in a glass!
Vintages release April, 2014. Line forms to the left.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
