Great concentration and depth of flavour and richness in this southern French red wine that's a blend traditional grapes such as Grenache and Mourvedre, among others. Xavier Vignon is the consulting winemaker for this winery.

Châteauneuf-Du-Pape food pairings: roast beef with all the trimmings, slow-braised beef long ribs, prime rib grilled rare.

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Delicious full-throttle Chateauneuf with intense blackberry and earthy notes. A decadent expression this regal Southern Rhone wine. Enjoy with braised leg of lamb. Tasted Oct 2017 by @sommsosa | bespketastings.ca
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Fabulous! Lots of black cherry, wet earth, violet, and cassis drenched blueberries - pure elegance at its finest. Full bodied and palate pleasing to say the least! Drink now or over the next two decades. Decanting recommended.
From the Rhône wine region, Xavier Cuvée Anonyme (2010) is a full-bodied and powerful Châteauneuf-Du-Pape. Weighing in at a mere 16% abv, there is a lot going on with this wine with black cherry, blueberry, garrigue herbs flavours. This wine can easily benefit from five years cellaring. - Community Wine Reviews
