Westcott Estate 2020 Pinot Noir, crafted by winemaker Casey Kulczyk, is a stunning representation of Niagara's finest. A blend of grapes from the estate's Westcott Home Farm and Butlers' Grant vineyards, it was fermented with 30% whole clusters and aged for 22 months in French oak (22% new). The wine is rich and aromatic, with layers of ripe red berries, crushed raspberries, earthy sous bois, and hints of baking spices and dried herbs. Elegant, vibrant, and juicy, it's perfect now and can be enjoyed through 2029 with roast leg of lamb or sauteed pork chops with mushrooms.

Pinot Noir food pairings: roast leg of lamb, sautéed pork chops with wild mushrooms, butternut squash and onion risotto.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Consistently a beautiful wine, this Estate Pinot Noir is fruit blended from two estate vineyards, the Westcott Home Farm and Butlers' Grant. On the nose, there are aromas of red cherry and strawberry, along with notes of sous bois, cedar, and sweet tobacco. Medium bodied with bright acidity and light grippy tannins, and vibrant bright berry notes with an earthy hint on the palate. Notes of smoke, and warm herbal hints on the finish. Enjoy with mushroom dishes, or pan-seared duck.
