Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

From The Great One! The Merlot 2017, from Wayne Gretzky Estate, located in the Niagara region, offers a good day-to-day wine. It reveals aromas of blackberry, blueberry, bay leaf, new leather, baking spice and cedar. Food friendly, with its light body and fruity finish, the wine offers flavors of blueberry, plum, dried herbs, cured meat and cedar. I should mention that if you visit the winery, you can skate on an NHL ice rink replica! You can’t beat having a good glass of wine while enjoying the pleasure of skating outside on a Canadian winter day! Enjoy.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
