Wakefield Jaraman 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is fragrant with dark berries, eucalyptus, mocha and sweet spicy tobacco. On the palate, the wine is dry, full-bodied with savoury herb, dark berry, mocha, menthol, cedar and toasty oak spice flavours on the palate. Enjoy with grilled meats.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Ripe and jammy, but well balanced. Aromas of black currant, eucalyptus (almost menthol), sweet spice and tobacco with a hint of leather. Full bodied with smooth, soft tannins, bright acidity and much more of that jammy, but bright fruit on the palate, along with more warm spicy and menthol notes, and a lengthy finish. Enjoy with grilled beef and veggie kebabs.
