From Clare Valley, McLaren Vale wine regions, Wakefield Jaraman 2021 Shiraz is robust and full-flavoured with ripe dark cherry, blackberry, raspberry, red berry, chocolate, mint, anise and pepper spice flavours, balanced with juicy acidity and framed with dusty, chalky tannins. So opulent and elegant. Drinking beautifully now through 2033.

Shiraz food pairings: juicy, grilled rare sirloin steak, hard cheese like Cheddar or Havarti.

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Aromas of red raspberry, blackberry and black cherry, along with hints of anise, black pepper, and mocha. Full bodied, rounded, and juicy with soft tannins, tons of plush berry notes, dried herbs and a slightly dry, chocolately note on the finish. Enjoy with grilled beef kebabs.
