Deep violet in the glass, Wakefield Jaraman is consistently rich with a mouthful of juicy dark plum, ripe raspberry, dried herb, smoky vanilla flavours and a dark berry compote finish. Tannins are well-integrated and ready to enjoy now with anything from the barbeque.

Jisun Hahn CAPS Certified Somm rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This violet coloured wine is quite luscious on the palate. Loads of ripe blackberry, cassis and plum compote. With an additional layer of cocoa powder, vanilla and baking spices. A hint of mint at the finish. This wine definitely leaves an impression and would be a delightful pairing for any grilled meats, especially Korean BBQ ribs!
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas of currant, blackberry, and vanilla with a hint of spice. Full bodied, smooth on the palate, wtih lots of ripe berry notes and a smooth finish with a slight touch of oaky spice. Enjoy with BBQ ribs or burgers.
Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A blend of grapes fro Clare Valley and McLaren vale, this Australian Shiraz is full-bodies with bold tannins and taste. Black fruit aromas with spices, licorice and lots of vanilla on the palate. A wine that can be aged further or served with barbeque fare.
A consistently great Shiraz from a well-known Australian family. Wakefield Jaraman 2017 is rich and smooth, medium-plus-bodied black raspberry, ripe plum, leafy, savoury herb and smoky vanilla flavours on the palate. The Shiraz wine grapes are sourced from mostly from the Clare Valley wine region with one-third from the McLaren Vale. Grapes are partially cold-soaked for 4 days, then aged in 100% new American oak barrels for 11 months. Delicious. Pair with a grilled rib eye steak. - Community Wine Reviews
