This is one intense Sauvignon Blanc from Wairau River Wines in the Marlborough. Fragrant with green tea, feijoa, ripe peach, guava and lemon-lime zest aromas and flavours, it is dry, medium-bodied, silky and crisp on the palate with a medium-plus length finish. Elegant and very expressive.

The fruit from this vintage was exceptionally clean and healthy, although the vintage itself experienced lower than average flowering and lower fruit yields with February and March producing some of the driest months ever on record. Harvesting began in the last week of February and was completed by the last week of March -- one of the earliest harvests experienced in the region. Tasted April 2023.
