Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Wild strawberry, a touch of red plum, floral, and perfumed bouquet. Integrated acidity, smooth tannins, and balanced body. Oak is subtle and harmonious. Varietal character driven with minimal manipulation, crafted using wild yeast, larger barrels, and older oak. A fine Garnacha ideal for meaty fish, roasted chicken, and grilled pork dishes.
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A charming and fruity wine from Aragon, Spain, the S de Ayles 2015 offers aromas of mission fig, prune, licorice, crushed gravel, dark chocolate and leather.
Made from 100% Garnacha, this medium-bodied Spaniard delivers lovely balance and a dried fruity finish. Palate: fig, prune, black tea, clay pot, leather and oak. Enjoy!
From the Pago Aylés wine region, Vino De Pago Aylés S De Aylés 2015 is a Spanish Grenache, floral with sweet cake spice aromas on the nose. Dry, with red berry, sweet spice and dried herb flavours on the palate. The first vines were planted in the Pago Aylés in 1994, an estate with its own appellation of origin in Aragón. The wine was fermented in 300 litre previous use French and American oak barrels. Tannins are fine. Enjoy now and for the next three years. - Community Wine Reviews
