A vibrant, expressive white that bursts with classic Marlborough character. It opens with zesty aromas of lime, passionfruit and fresh-cut herbs, layered with hints of gooseberry and subtle minerality. The palate is crisp and refreshing, offering bright acidity, a light body and a clean, citrus-driven finish at 12.5% alcohol. Fascinating fact: Villa Maria has been a pioneer in sustainable viticulture for decades, and the Private Bin line continues that commitment by sourcing fruit from some of Marlborough’s most environmentally focused vineyards.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: citrus-marinated shrimp tacos, where the wine’s zingy lift enhances every bite. Or enjoy it with a simple chèvre and arugula salad, a pairing that celebrates freshness from start to finish.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Consistently delicious, this is a love Sauvigno Blanc with aromas of green herbs, grapefruit, and fresh cut grass. Light bodied with vibrant, fresh acidity, rounded citrus notes, along with a touch of gooseberry. Enjoy with spring vegetable dishes.
