Fleshy ripe cherries on the nose: lovely! A river of velvet red fruit on the tongue. Caress your senses and tastebuds with this full-bodied, delicious red. Terrific price. Move over cabernet, you've got some full-bodied competition here! The grapes come from 30-year-old vines and the wine is aged 100% in stainless steel tanks.

Food pairings: grilled steak, prime rib.

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Why spend $50 on Chateauneuf when you can get a few bottles of this for the same price. This wine features black cherries, plum skin, spice, mineral, all laced with white pepper. 90 Points. (ottawawinejournal.com)

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
