Reviews and Ratings

Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A full bodied Chardonnay with aromas of pineapple, canteloupe, mineral notes and hints of roasted almonds. It is rich on the palate with citrus and nutty flavours as well as canteloupe, ripe stone fruit, a touch of white pepper and a slight bitter finish.

Tasted November 2017
Vieni Private Reserve (2012) is a full-bodied and dry Chardonnay from Vinemount Ridge in the Niagara Peninsula wine region. The wine was matured for over a year in French oak. and the 2012 vintage was a strong one now showing ripe stonefruit, golden apple and lemon custard and vanilla flavours. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
