Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

From Portugal's spectacular and historic Douro Valley, a World Heritage Site, this red blend is a brilliant example of Douro winemaking skill. Dark garnet red with dark plummy fruit, herbal and savoury notes on nose. A very satiny palate shows layers of ripe dark fruit, vanilla, savoury herbs and salinity with mouth-watering acidity. Silky, balanced mouthfeel and elegant finish. Excellent for roasts and winter casseroles or hard cheeses.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
