Vasse Felix Filius is a cool-climate Chardonnay from the Margaret River Valley in Australia. Dry, rich with fresh ripe apple, tropical fruit, bright citrus and toasty flavours on the palate from oak ageing. Enjoy now and for the next three years.

Chardonnay food pairings: crisp-skinned roast pork, light chicken dishes, creamy pastas and soft cheeses such as brie.

Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Fresh green apple and lemon with subtle and balanced oak on the nose. Chablis in style, reflects the cooler Margaret River and its maritime influence beautifully. Great acidity, mouthwatering and fresh. Apple and citrus keep up on the palate with subtle oak spice in the finish. Sure to please with most seafood dishes while quite suitable for chicken and creamy pastas as well.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Light oak on the nose with hints of buttery popcorn. The palate is silky smooth with a bright acidity that keeps this chardonnay in the light and crisp category. Great food wine -- try with cream sauces on chicken or fish. Tasted May 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Love this cool-climate Chardonnay from the Margaret River wine region. Zesty and well-balanced with fresh apple, almond nut, vanilla, savoury and mineral flavours on the palate and a long lemon-lime zest clean and bright finish. Pair with grilled pork chops. - Community Wine Reviews
