Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Can you drink rosé after Labour Day? Absolutely! Particularly this one. From Vasanti Estate Winery, their Renewal Series 2025 Cabernet Franc Rosé is a beautifully balanced, savoury and juicy blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with a splash or two of Cab Franc (92%/8%). Produced from grapes sourced from the winery’s Granite Lake Vineyard in Osoyoos, British Columbia, this rosé has shoulders and a mouthful of flavours.

A pretty deep salmon hue in the glass, on the nose there are medium-intensity aromas of wild pink roses, ripe peach, mango, ripe rainier cherry, baked cherry pie, dried wild herbs and a titch of minerality. Dry, medium-bodied with zesty, in fact, racy acidity, the palate mirrors the nose with ripe cherry, raspberry, pink florals, minerally notes, savoury, silky and lingering on the palate. Tannins are chalky and light. Overall, an excellent quality estate rosé, to chill up and sip now or keep it for turkey time because it would be an absolute spot on pairing with a Thanksgiving roast turkey dinner. Tasted September 2026. Drink or hold to 2028.

On a personal note: Vasanti raised $4,000 from wine sales in August 2026 for the Summerland Wildfire relief fund #summerlandstrong. Congrats, Vasanti!
