Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro - Andrea's Wine Cellar rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Pale lemon-green colour, ripe asian pear, citrus golden apple and lots of floral elements consisting of blossom, peony and lily. Flavours are very vibrant, crisp green apple, yellow grapefruit, grassy saltiness and a touch of limestone. Zippy biting acidity, light body and a crisp tart finish. A perfect pair for shrimp ceviche and pickled artichokes. 91 points - tasted December 2017
Valtea (2016) is a bone-dry and medium-bodied Albariño form the Rías Baixas wine region. On the nose the wine is floral with white stonefruit and mineral notes, crunchy apple, lime and lemon zesty on the palate. This is your bouillabaisse wine. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
