Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

I tasted this after tasting a Zinfandel - ok my mistake but the good news is this PN could hold it's own. Cherries and a soft earthy aroma seen in my preferred PN's. Heavy mouthfeel with a nice viscous texture. A touch of tannin means you can buy a few of these and tuck them away and consume tomorrow or 3 years from now. Just a great value.
Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A beautifully balanced and cheery Pinot Noir!
Bright red cherries, rhubarb, cedar and floral aromas swirl together and transform into a velvet mouthfeel, with a spicy cherry finish.
Pair with salmon or turkey dinner.
Tasted August 2018.
Produced by the Union Wine Co, Underwood 2016 Pinot Noir is tart cherry, ripe red berries with earthy and light herb flavours on the palate. Tannins are velvety. The Pinot Noir grapes for this wine were sourced from the Umpqua Valley in south Oregon. Pair with grilled lamb chops. - Community Wine Reviews
