Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is a lovely and luscious icewine which is certified Kosher, and also vegan friendly. Aromas of candied strawberry , plum, and jammy cherry. Full bodied and luscious on the palate with tons of ripe and concentrated fruit and berry notes with mouthwatering and balancing acidity. Enjoy with dark chocolate and fruit.
Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Delicious. This dessert wine displayed a striking garnet colour in my glass. Crafted in Ontario’s Niagara Peninsula appellation, this cabernet sauvignon ice wine was bursting with lush, candied red fruit aromas and flavours reminiscent of cherry and currant. Serve alongside a slice of cherry pie or dark chocolate today. Enjoy.

From the Niagara Peninsula wine region, Tzafona Cellars Cold Climate 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Icewine is designated Kosher. Look for sweet red berry fruit, strawberry rhubarb compote and cocoa flavours. Sweetness is in check with great acidity on this icewine. Pour over French vanilla ice cream. - Community Wine Reviews
