Gorgeous complexity and concentration of flavour on this blockbuster Spanish red wine made from the classic Cabernet Sauvignon grape! The grapes for this lusciously ripe Cabernet grow on vines planted on the belvedere of the Mas la Palana estate. Aromas of blackberry jam, dark spice and some pepper. Pair with a rare steak.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: lamb Bolognese, grilled New York strip loin, hard cheese, braised pork shanks, veal chops.

Reviews and Ratings

Jay Denney rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A perennial great value, this vintage in particular is drinking very well right now. Dark, jammy fruit is backed up with notes of cocoa and spice. Served with a Sunday Roast and Yorkshire pudding you say? Splendid idea.
