Reviews and Ratings

Kevin Patrick rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Fantastic citrus aromas with a hint of sweetness, probably from passionfruit. Big juicy palate with a great fruit burst and crisp finish. Goes really well with seafood, particularly oysters. I just loved this wine and had to open a second bottle.

I also note this wine won the Best Sauvignon Blanc of Show, received a double gold medal and was rated 94pts by the San Francisco International Wine Show last year. What a fantastic result and very deserving of this wine. So drinkable. Love it.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A beautiful example of Marlborough Sauv Blanc, named after the graceful native grass that grows in the region. Fresh, clean fruit aromas and flavours of gooseberry, tropical fruit and citrus, with cut grass and herbal characterisitcs. Extra-dry, refreshing and full of flavour. LCBO Vintages Release July 2016

Ian Anderson Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Very pale colour but intensely aromatic. Tropical fruit, sweet citrus, no herbal aromas. On the palate it was well balanced with a lot of sweet fruit and some herbaceous notes. Pineapple featured prominently. It wasn't as crisp a finish as I hoped but it was long and sweet.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
