Classic aromas of rosewater, baking spice and lychee on the nose and palate. Very balanced yet not overdone. Viscous and mouth-filling with great layering. Finishes with baking spices and lemon zest. Pair with shellfish and mild curries.

Gewurztraminer food pairings: Asian and spicy dishes, pork tenderloin topped, lighter-flavoured sea-food dishes.

Reviews and Ratings

Cherie Cole rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

I purchased a bottle of this during a visit to British Columbia last summer and I wish I purchased more! From BC's Okanagan Valley, this aromatic white presents feminine white floral notes, lychee, and ripe peach with a touch of sweet spice. Full-bodied with a fresh acidity and long, citrus and peach finish. Tasted May 2017.
The 2014 vintage of the Tinhorn Creek Gew├╝rztraminer is very aromatic with floral notes and lychee. This is a great example of the vibrant style of wines that the Southern Okanagan produces. Tinhorn Creek farms their vineyards sustainability. Winemaker Sandra Oldfield has nicknamed this wine "Gew" for its intensity and unique character. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
