Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Thanks to Gord and the boys for collaborating with Stoney Ridge in Niagara on this Cabernet - Merlot blend. Aromas of black fruit, leather, and a warm cedar note. Lots of dark fruit and smoky notes on the palate. Medium tannin with higher than expected acidity which helps to lengthen the finish. Enjoy with steak and THE fully Completely album in the background. RIP Gord. Thank you for your music. (October 18, 2017)
This 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot and 17% Cabernet Francis red wine is made in collaboration between the Canadian band The Hip and Stoney Ridge's head winemaker, Jeff Hundertmark. Pair with steak and mushroom sliders. - Community Wine Reviews

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
