A juicy, medium-bodied, rich BC rose with aromas of cranberry and tart cherry. Lots of racy acidity. Perfect for planked salmon.

Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Pretty pale rose petal pink appearance with pronounced strawberry and vanilla cream aromas. Flavours are juicy and trending off-dry but a high well-balanced acidity and a crisp candied raspberry finish. Enjoy with sage and cranberry stuffed port tenderloin. Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Bright and brilliant medium-bodied Pinot Noir based Okanagan rosé with vibrant wild strawberry and savoury with a hint of tart cherry on the finish. I love the art on the Hatch labels. Pairs with butterflied cranberry drizzled roasted pork tenderloin or chicken breast. Tasted 2016 vintage in July 2017. 89 points.
Ruth Blakely WSET 3, FV Sensory 2 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This 'Pink Pachyderm' is a great ambassador for one of BC's most fun wineries. It's rather rich pink might bring a kiddy drink to mind but it's very well made. The nose has a hint of candy floss but there are some nice florals and cherry aromas apparent as well. Medium finish and well priced think about it for your upcoming Thanksgiving turkey!
Winemaking – Cold soaked, saignee Pinot Noir. Just as God intended.
Why you should care – This Pinot Noir rosé is the quintessential summer sipper, and lovely with holiday birds all year long. It takes flight with a dizzying array of jasmine, spice, sun soaked strawberries, and framed with oodles of freshness and flavour. Sip on this by the pint with your your favourite charcuterie, cheeses, ethnic takeaway, spot prawns and/or field berries.

Shade of pink – Grenadine
