A gorgeous BC white wine made from Gewurztraminer grapes grown in the winery's Paven Vineyard. Aromas of lychee, rosewater and baking spice. Medium-bodied. Perfect for spicy dishes and curries.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Gorgeous Gewürztraminer from Kelowna BC. Tangy lychee fruit, tart nectarine, rose water, and a hint of ginger. Mouthwatering acidity, medium body, well balanced. Pairs well with Thai and Asian fusion dishes. Tasted 2016 vintage in July 2017. 91 points. BespokeTastings
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Gorgeous floral, white peach, melon and lip smacking citrus notes. I'm loving the acidity and faint white pepper finish. A delicious medium-bodied Gewurztraminer. Enjoy with haddock Thai green curry. Tasted July 2017 by @sommsosa | @bespoketastings.ca
And with this, there were five. This is the 5th installment of our much vaunted ‘hobo series’, and a debut for Gew. Why is Gew a hobo? You go to Alsace, and this grape produces some of the most ethereal wines in the world. Outside Alsace? Hasn’t really happened. This chap though, brings the big aromatics, exotic flavours and rich texture that would make it’s Alsatian cousins proud.
Drink now to 3 years. The cliché is to drink Gew with spicey food, but they’re wrong. Go more salty style with this.
