Dry with a medium body and attractive tropical fruit notes. This wine spent 24 hours in contact with the skins to add a little colour and some character. About 10% of the wine also spent time in oak. Refreshing and clean.

Pinot Gris food pairings: light fare, seafood.

Reviews and Ratings

Nick Onischuk - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

The Grange Select Pinot Gris 2011 is very aromatic - peach and spice on the nose. Flavours of citrus, peach, apricot and spice. Tasted on October 7,2013 (86/100)
Dry yet still aromatic style with notes of bright peach and lemon. Soft palate with a touch of sweetness and a zesty finish. Great good friendly Gris! Source: Agent (Hobbs & Co. Wine Merchants)

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
