A lovely, medium-bodied Italian white wine made from the Falanghina grape. Zesty and mouth-watering with notes of lemongrass. Pair with seafood.

Falanghina Del Sannio food pairings: grilled shrimp, fish cakes, seafood Shepherd's pie.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

My first time trying Falanghina! Aromas of lemon zest, white peach, and some hints of honeyed nuts and a zippy minerality. Bright acidity, lots of lemon and a hint of honey on the palate, more mineral on the finish. This is a perfect shellfish wine, try with any scallop or shrimp dish.
From the Campania wine region, Terre Stregate Svelato 2016 Falanghina Del Sannio is smooth and fresh with yellow apple, fine herbs, savoury spice and zesty citrus flavours on the palate. Pair with grilled fish dishes. Awarded three out of three glasses in the 2018 Gambero Rosso Italian Wines. - Community Wine Reviews
