Reviews and Ratings

Jisun Hahn CAPS Certified Somm rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This deeply coloured Malbec is a gorgeous concoction of ripe black fruit and spice. Tannins are firm but silky and well balanced with medium plus acidity that brings a nice brightness to the palate. Turned earth and a hint of tobacco adds additional elegance. A fine wine to pair with smoked short ribs with a dark cherry compote on the side. Enjoy now or hold for 3 to 5 years.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is a robust, meaty wine with earthy tones of wet forest floor. Concentrated black plum on the palate. Silky, smooth, with very fine tannins. Very enjoyable with excellent length. Serve with grilled sausage or beef. Very good value. Tasted Nov 22, 2019 www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

An Argentinian Malbec from Mendoza, this medium-bodied wine has a nose of dark berries and spice. The tannins are well in check on the palate and there are earthy flavours throughout. Beef- grilled or stewed would match the spiciness of the wine.
Terrazas De Los Andes 2017 Malbec Reserva is fresh and fragrant with dark berry, plum, dried herbs and dark chocolate flavours on the palate. Medium-plus-bodied with fresh acidity, well-balanced with silky, fine tannins. Drinking great now and great value under $20. The Malbec wine grapes for this vintage were grown at above 1,000 metres above sea level perfect for retaining freshness as well as the ripening of Malbec. - Community Wine Reviews
