This full-bodied Portuguese red wine is a blend of native grapes grown in Celeiros do Douro and Sabrosa. Juicy and full-bodied with enticing aromas of dark fleshy ripe black plums and dark spice. Pair with grilled meats.

Food pairings: grilled meats and game and pastas in red sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A great value wine, with a lot to offer. Full bodied and exceptionally tasty, great aromatics. Complex old world structure and aromatics of earth and tanned leather complement its ripe plums, blackberry and lightly oak influenced spice. Pair this with roasted red meats or grilled steaks, cheese platter or antipasti. Tasted the 2014 vintage in May 2017. 91 points. BespokeTastings
Teoria is derived from a blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz, fermented in vats, with later stage in american oak barrels. With a violet color, marked by aromas of black fruit, spice and vanilla; It has a structure of firm well balanced tannins and has a smooth and elegant finish.
