Savoury with dried herbs and smoke on the nose and palate. Loads of black pepper on the nose and palate: terrific liquid condiment to any dish that cries out for pepper. Black fruit, juicy, smooth and full-bodied.

Food pairings: meat lasagne, vegetarian pizza, Porchetta.

Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Smooth and full bodied, this wine has lots of black cherry, currants and spice on the nose with rich, concentrated flavors of cracked black pepper, cherry, blackberry, and a hint of leather. Complex and elegant this wine would be perfect with a hearty tomato based pasta dish.
Tedeschi's Corasco (2015) is a full-bodied Rosso Delle Venezie from the Veneto wine region. Lots of ripe dark fruit, pepper, good acidity and soft tannins on this red wine blend of Corvina from the Moraine Hills; Raboso from Treviso; and Refosco from Aquileia. Grapes were dried prior to fermentation, concentrating the ripe, dark cherry and black fruit flavours on this palate. Good length. Pair with venison stew. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
