Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

A versatile dessert wine made in Portugal's beautiful Douro Valley since 1692. Aromas of black cherry and raspberry jam, dried fruit, baking spices, walnuts and a touch of smoke continue on a smooth, velvety palate with a rich lingering finish. Enjoy with nuts, blue cheese or a fruit flan.
Tasted November 2015
Brian Gray Hamilton rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Dense nose of blue and black berries, sweet tobacco and jam. Palette is at once lush, juicy, fresh and fine with silky tannins and long fruity finish. Warming and wonderful on the last day of winter.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
