From Napa Valley, a concentrated and juicy blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot, of which a portion is aged in new French oak barriques. Dark ruby in the glass with cassis, liquid blueberry, earthy florals, cedar spice and smoky vanilla flavours on the palate. Tannins are fine and velvety. Drink or hold.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: slow-braised lamb shanks, venison stew, pork roast.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Lovely and bold Cabernet Sauvignon with aromas of currant, black berry, woodsmoke, eucalyptus and warm spice. Full bodied and smooth on the palate, with soft but structured tannins with ripe dark berry fruit, spice, and hints of smoke on the finish. Enjoy with grilled meats.
Tarot 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot aged 20 months in 34% new French oak. Deep ruby-purple in the glass with ripe black currant, blueberry, blackberry and mint finishing smoky and spicy on the palate. Tannins are fine-grained. Pour with a juicy grilled hangar steak. - Community Wine Reviews
