Tarapacá 150 Anniversary Gran Reserva Rosé Leyda Valley D.O. is a light, extra-dry rosé from the El Granito Vineyard, planted in 2010 just four kilometres from the Pacific Ocean, where strong maritime influence and cool sea breezes give this coastal site its distinctive briny mineral character. Made from Pinot Noir with minimal skin contact, fermented in stainless steel and concrete eggs, it's fruit-forward and fresh with red berry, raspberry, wild strawberry, and a creamy texture underpinned by bright acidity and a saline finish. Serve it well chilled and drink it through 2027. Winemaker Sebastián Ruiz has been at Viña Tarapacá for over 30 years, a level of dedication that shows in the consistency and precision of the wines he makes. The winery was founded in 1874 by Don Francisco de Rojas y Salamanca in the Maipo Valley, making it one of Chile's oldest and most storied producers, and the 150 Anniversary label marks a milestone worth raising a glass to.
