Reviews and Ratings

Julia Kelada rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This is a delicious Champagne that I recently tasted. I can highly recommend it for those who love to celebrate a long weekend with a beautiful bottle of bubbly, so Easter seems quite befitting! Not only is it a delicious Champagne, but instead of regular price of $65.25, the SAQ is offering a $7.00 discount!....Cheers to that!

This dry, medium bodied Champagne has a creamy yellow colour to it. Made from three grape varieties, being the typical production of champagne, each varietal bringing it's own aromas.

There is a slight apple cider on the nose, along with freshly cut woody branches and fresh pastry, like that of a freshly baked croissant.

On the palate there is a delicate orange zest, hazelnuts and freshly toasted bread. There are fruits of strawberries and raspberries from the Pinot, and then an introduction of grapefruit zest.

The bubbles hold their structure. The champagne has a great balanced acidity with a good texture.

Delicious!

I would pare this with some fried calamari to bring out the bread notes. A blackened cod with sesame seeds would also pair well.

Bottoms up!

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
