Reviews and Ratings

Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A bright Sauvignon Blanc with crunchy Granny Smith apple aromas, as well as lemon, mint, white flower, herbal notes and limestone. On the palate, it is medium bodied and crisp with vivid acidity and lemon flavours.

Tasted February 2018
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted May 11, 2018. Colour clear brilliant white. Legs medium thick. Aromas and flavours of citrus, green melon, green apple, fragarent flowers. Taste dry, aromatic herbs, mouthwatering, long lingering finish of citrus grapefruit peel. Surprised it is a Sauvignon Blanc, it has its own unique character with minerality tucked into the fruit.
I was eating a gluten free chicken burger laced with vegatables with the wine and the wine improved the taste. Highly recommend trying this wine.
Tabalí Talinay 2016 is a clean, dry and vibrant Sauvignon Blanc from the Talinay vineyard in the Limarí Valley. The Sauvignon Blanc vines are grown in limestone soils giving freshness and a zesty flinty minerality to the wine. The wine was fermented in stainless steel. - Community Wine Reviews
