A joyously rich and full-bodied red that bursts with mouth-watering aromas and flavours of blackberry and black cherry. Smooth and delicious. Incredibly great price. Highly recommended. Pair with meat lovers' pizza.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: steak fajitas, hearty black bean soup.

Reviews and Ratings

Paul Grinnell rated this wine as 91/100
Malcolm Lamont - WSET Adv, CSW rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Big but well structured cab sauv with lots of sharp tannins that don't soften much with decanting. Good character and complexity, and a nice wine. Could use some cellaring based on the tannins.
Travis Oke rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

I was told by my locat LCBO guy "P" that the Chilean Cab Sauv has a pronounced bell pepper to it. That's what hits you upfront on this, but in a nice way that reminded me of a Cab Franc. Nice rounded fruits underneath.
Deep ruby-purple colour foreshadows aromas and flavours of fresh black cherry, blackcurrant, cedar plank and woodsmoke. It’s medium-full bodied, juicy and round with mouth-coating, slightly chewy, ripe youthful tannins. Stick it in your cellar for 3-5 years, or decant and enjoy. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, Nov. 2012
