From Stratus Vineyards, Wildass 2019 Sauvignon Blanc is produced from sustainably-grown grapes from the Niagara-On-The-Lake wine region. In 2005 Stratus was the world's first fully LEED-certified (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) winner. The 2019 SB is fragrant with white florals and citrus zest aromas, mouth-watering with fresh pear, grapefruit, gooseberry, lime zest, fine herb and mineral flavours on the palate. Chill and enjoy with pan-fried trout or a goat cheese, arugula and spring greens salad.

Wildass Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: poached salmon, green salads topped with goat cheese, steamed shrimp.

Reviews and Ratings

Trent Mayers rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is an enjoyable Sauvignon that will be easy to like in the hot weather. It’s fresh, just hitting dry, and beautifully aromatic with lime zest, lemon, cut grass and minerals with a finish that really lingers. An excellent wine for your afternoon on the patio or pairing with grilled white fish.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
