Perfect Viognier! Floral, lime blossom, zippy lime zest. Medium-bodied and thoroughly delicious. Get out of your white wine rut.

Reviews and Ratings

Darlene Myers - CAPS Student rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

A fantastic wine. This is the perfect wine to have with turkey. Light and crisp with flavours of citrus. A very elegant wine that you will love more and more with each sip.
For years, Stags’ Leap produced such tiny amounts of this varietal Viognier that it was unavailable to the wine world at large – it was made especially for family and friends. They’ve only been releasing this refreshing and aromatic wine to the public since 1998. Attractive suggestions of peach, yellow plum, pink grapefruit, melon and fresh flowers. Big, plump and mouthfilling on the palate, with a bombastic fruit core surrounded by remarkably refreshing acidity. Luxuriously smooth texture. Plenty of oomph in this wine, and plenty of freshness too. Finishes long, with a touch of stony minerality. Source: Vintages Wine Panel

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
