A stunning, full-bodied BC red wine blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot grapes. Aromas of dark fruit, smoke and toasty oak. A lovely juicy acidity for tangy meat sauces.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This is a beautiful beast of a wine, only made in exceptional years. The blend is Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot, all co-fermented. The resulting wine is bold, with aromas of black fruit, currant, warm spice, tobacco and smoke. Full bodied, firm grippy tannins, and lots of fruit and smoke on the palate. Bright acidity really balances out the flavours and extends the finish. Perfect for a medium rare steak, this is an amazing wine that would benefit from decanting for at least an hour, and you can likely hold on to this and enjoy over the next 8-10 years.
