Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Really well balanced red blend of Shirax, Grenache and Touriga. Aromas of ripe red berries, with a bit of evergreen and warm spice. Full bodied, smooth with a bit of soft tannins, tons of ripe berry and some balancing acidity on the palate. Enjoy with slow roasted beef.
From St Hallett, Gamekeeper's 2018 is a warm and rich Shiraz, Grenache and Touriga Nacional red wine blend. Full-bodied and lush red berry, cherry compote, plum, savoury spice, pepper and savoury herb flavours on the palate. Pair with bison burgers from the grill. St Hallett has been producing wine in the Barossa since 1944. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
