Lovely bright cherry notes on this medium-bodied, smooth New Zealand Pinot Noir. Racy acidity for planked salmon.

Pinot Noir food pairings: veal chops in red wine sauce, lamb chops with rosemary and garlic, rabbit fricassee.

Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is a medium plum colour in the glass. Aromas of minty, candied cherry prevail. Fruit has receded to a mild, dry, tart cherry with perceptible acidity. The mouth feel was a bit chalky and clumsy. Would complement duck breast in a cherry sauce quite nicely.
This fresh, zesty and mouthfeeling Pinot Noir is from Central Otago on New Zealand's South Island. Great acidity and fruit balance on this one. Lots of fun. Drink now and for the next few years. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
