Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Certified organic, this hand-harvested Merlot has nice fruity, ripe plum notes on the nose and palate. 15% Gamay has been added to up the fruit and juiciness factor. This supple sipper goes down so easily with lovely balance and structure. Serve with ribs or lamb burgers. Tasted February 2020. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Triomphe 2017 is a vegan-friendly, medium-plus-bodied red wine blend of mostly Merlot with some Gamay for lift and freshness. Juicy and fresh with bright dark plum, red berry, cherry and mocha flavours on the palate. Wine grapes were sourced from certified organic vineyards in the Niagara Peninsula wine region and fermented in oak vat with malolactic fermentation then aged in previous use barrels for five months. Pair with black bean soup, lamb or duck roast. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
