Reviews and Ratings

Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Medium garnet with aromas of cherry, cranberry, dried cherry, dried herbs, black olives, and a touch of violets. The taste is young tart cherry with medium tannins and medium-high acidity.

I tried this at 18 degrees Celsius and found it a bit closed. It definitely presents better as it warms up.
A beautiful valley vineyard consists of medium soil, dissolved in surface tending to calcareous. A little more than a meter deep are hard layers of white-gray marl and hard and compact bluish belonging to the Elveziano period.
Processing: Crushing and-stemming, long maceration with submerged cap 4-6 Weeks (Depending on the year)
Vinification: In stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures
Maturing Process: 6 months in stainless steel tank
Aging: 24 months in barrels of Slavonian oak oversize.
wine with good color intensity and attractive shades last.
Intense bouquet, full and persistent with memories of fine woods, mint and ripe fruit.
Over time they develop ethereal sensations with I hint to the resin and sweet spices.
full flavor, well structured, acidity and tannins evident that evolve and balance with the passing years. Wine with good potential aging.
