Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Typically, Pinot Gris is a pleasant white wine with pear, apple, citrus, tropical fruit and honey notes, and sometimes a kick of ginger spice.

Solvero Pinot Gris (2025) has that and so much more. Dry, medium-bodied, fresh and silky with pear, apple and honey notes, it's a spicy little number with ginger and white pepper spice fresh and frisky on the palate. Chill and enjoy it with farmer pork chops from the grill, or spicy scallop scampi, it has the weight, a hint of sweetness to manage both dishes. A well-crafted PG to enjoy now through 2028. Tasted June 2026.

Winemaker notes: "Our 2025 Pinot Gris was harvested from Kozuki Family Vineyards and Happy Valley Vineyard at the end of September. The grapes were hand-harvested across five picks and fermented individually. Each block was gently whole cluster pressed to release a lower volume of juice with a high degree of clarity and concentration."

The Pinot Gris was aged in stainless-steel tanks and neutral French oak barrels for three months prior to bottling.
