Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 96/100 with the following review:

Wow! Deep ruby in colour, with a black-ish core, this is a deep and robust wine. The nose shows luscious raisin, fig, and prune, baking spice, dried herbs, the sweet fruit reminiscent of fine port. Such depth and complexity in this Super Tuscan. Incredible layers of dried fruits, vanilla, baking spices, herbs, and black licqorice, the list goes on and on, like the never ending heart warming finish. Soft and well structured, it's beautiful now and I can only imagine what it can evolve to in the years to come. 96 points. Tasted March 2015. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Philippe Perreault, Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

This super Tuscans is a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Sangiovese and 5% Cabernet Franc.

Deep ruby color with notes of licorice, cherry, black currant, tobacco, oak, tomato leaf and coffee.

The wine is chewy, complex and long.

A fine wine to match fine food like Kobe beef.

Serve it at 15-17 degrees.
I suggest to pour it in carafe at less 45 minutes before the service.

Can be aged 8-10 years.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
