Reviews and Ratings

Silver Oak 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon has a splash of Petit Verdot added to the mix (0.4%) which was co-fermented with the Cab Sauv. The wine was aged in 50% new and 50% second-use American Oak barrels from the Duncan family's The Oak cooperage in Higbee, Missouri. Deep, dark violet and broody in the glass, the wine is dry, medium-plus-bodied and concentrated with layers of ripe dark berry, dark cherry, cassis, pink florals, smoky vanilla and toasty oak spice flavours brilliant on the palate with a velvety long finish. Enjoy it through 2035 with meats from the grill. - Community Wine Reviews
