Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Deep garnet in the glass, this 'secret blend' opens with a complex nose. It starts with ripe, warm black fruits. Then hints of light mint are followed by a waft of earthy barnyard and then a breath of fresh salinity. Lots of luscious fruit on the silky, smooth palate. The fruit continues right through the long, expressive finish. Grill up your best steak for this one. Tasted June 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

$96 Cali red blend. Lovely label, heavy duty bottle. Presentation talks the talk. Can the contents walk the walk? Intense colour. A melange of ripe dark fruit accented by chocolate on the nose. Good weight and strong tannins. Oak is quite heady on the palate and finish, plenty of oak spice, smoke, and chocolate-covered dark fruit flavours. A great wine no doubt, but where's the value? There are plenty of comparable wines from California and elsewhere with better value. Still not a bad choice for red meats.
Secret Indulgence Secret Blend 2015 is just that, a secret from Napa Valley, California. Fragrant with a red berry, blueberry, cedar spice nose, dry and full-bodied with dark cherries, dark berries, wild herbs, cedar and sweet spice flavours on the palate. Tannins are fine. Enjoy now and for the next 10 years. - Community Wine Reviews
