Stunning with wonderfully concentrated aromas of white flowers, fleshy ripe peach and pear. Yet so light as to make this a marvellous aperitif.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Pale lemon green with M+ aromatic intensity. This outstanding Kabinett Riesling as green apple, lime, peach, mineral, sweet citrus and beeswax on the nose. On the palate it's quite vibrant with dried apricot, peach and sweet citrus notes, bright pronounced flavour intensities and high acidity which is balanced out nicely with the medium-sweetness (44g/L) it has a pronounced long finish with petrol notes echoing all the way. 9 years old, but still developing and can further age. Pair with Chinese bbq Duck or Ham.
Elizabeth Vickers rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Smooth and sweet.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
