Sartori Brolo di Sotto Valpolicella Classico from Veneto is a refined, light to medium-bodied red offering aromas of tart wild strawberry, dried violet, and hints of crushed almond. The current generation of Luca and Andrea Sartori leads this historic family winery founded in 1898 when their great-grandfather Pietro Sartori purchased Villa Maria, a vineyard with a small cellar attached in the heart of Valpolicella. The wine is crafted from indigenous varieties including Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grown in the Montegradella vineyards north of Verona, fermented for 8-10 days at controlled temperatures before resting in cement and steel for 6-8 months.
