Natalie's Score: 91/100

This expressive blend is anchored by 85% Carmenère sourced from Peumo, a prime growing area in Cachapoal Valley where warm temperatures and gentle breezes create ideal ripening conditions. To enhance structure and vibrancy, 10% Syrah adds bright acidity, while Carignan from Maule lends further depth and complexity. The result is a wine bursting with lively red berry flavours, lifted by crisp acidity and refined tannins that provide a polished, elegant finish. Best enjoyed through 2030, it pairs beautifully with grilled chorizo or herb-marinated lamb.

Carménère food pairings: BBQ ribs, grilled steak, grilled game meats.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Beautiful and richly coloured, this wine is 85% Carmenere, with 10% Syrah, and 5% Carignan added in. Aromas of dark cherry and currant, with hints of smoky tobacco, leather, and graphite. Full bodied and smooth on the palate, with rich, dark berry notes mingled with hints of mocha. Tannins are smooth and rounded, acidity is medium. Enjoy with grilled pork or chicken.
