Reviews and Ratings

Chant Etyemezian rated this wine as 100/100
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby colour with an evolving bouquet featuring black cherry, dark skinned plum, fig compote, violets, licorice, soft leather and baking spices. Flavours are rich and fruity: plum, raisin, prune, dark chocolate and smoke with mineral salts. Medium acidity with a full, rich body and finish. Fruity, juicy and complex. Pair with a thick cut steak - rib or t-bone and Brussels sprouts. 91 points - tasted January 2018
From the Puglia wine region San Marzano Talò (2015) Primitivo Di Manduria is ripe cherries, fresh plum and mocha on the palate with a whiff of vanilla from oak ageing for six months in American oak. This wine scored gold in the Berliner Wein Trophy 2017. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
